VIOLET FLOWERS ON THE MOUNTAIN
I still have your picture on
my fridge
the one of you on the mountain
picking violet flowers
the one I took
just before you left
Every year it fades a little
as the flowers on the mountain fade
and die
as my memory fades
it’s almost gone now
I can hardly see you
Your face
your voice
visit me now and then
in the night
in dreams
