One Christmastime many years ago
a child was born
a present
the beginning of a family
the beginning of many years of laughter
of song
nights of celebration and togetherness
Christine is gone now
but she is with us always
in spirit
This Christmas will be bedecked with colored lights
with tears and memories
with gratitude
